Online Publisher of animated audiovisual presentations, by leading world experts, is looking for a Producer to manage the entire process of their Biomedical and Life Sciences Collection from subject selection, editor and speaker recruitment and commissioning to delivery of the recorded presentations.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an outstanding candidate to join one of a leading group of companies which has over 30 years' experience in providing practical guidance on the issues that matter in the disciplines of finance, property, marketing, management and the life sciences.
Based in London, this role is offering a salary of £25,000 - £27,000.
Tasks and Responsibilities include:
• To produce a series of talks in the Biomedical and Life Sciences Collection for distribution online
• Identifying potential editors and speakers, initiating contact and securing their participation in the series
• Liaising with editors and speakers during the production process to help them produce their presentations as simply as possible, whilst accommodating their own schedules and ensuring that our production deadlines are met
• Liaising with members of the Technical Support team to ensure production of the completed series
• Writing and designing promotional material
The Ideal Candidate will:
• Minimum 2:1 degree in a Science subject or an equivalent qualification, a PhD would be advantageous
• Have 2 years' commercial experience, an interest in business and higher education would be ideal
• Be curious, a forward thinker / planner, wants to take on and relishes new challenges
• Not be scared to think outside the box and to take on responsibility early on
• Be flexible in their working practices to facilitate contact with people in different time-zones and be willing to travel nationally and internationally to meet with speakers
